Delicious food, but expensive!! Burger was flavorful, filling & light. Fries were some of the best I've ever had. Chili was just right spicy & full of meaty goodness.

Nice place to sit have a drink and a bite to eat. The bartenders were really friendly. The food was good and came out pretty quick. You should definitely give them a try.

Great restaurant and watering hole with delicious food and prompt service. Plenty of seats and a double sided bar if you're just drinking. Lots of taps and menu choices. I personally like the ghost pepper Mac n cheese. They also have daily deals.

Great staff, food and beer

Visited for the first and last time tonight. Upon entering there's no one to greet you, we had no idea if we should seat ourselves or not. Definitely a place that favors the "regulars." My burger was the worst burger I've ever eaten. I'm currently sitting here trying not to throw it up. It took about 20 minutes to receive a check and another 15 minutes for someone to retrieve our payment! Waiters just kept ignoring us! We were charged for beer we didn't order, but decided not to fight it because we just wanted to leave!

Great atmosphere & food!

The mac is the best part of the Tavern. Went for burger week on a sunday evening. Not crowded at all. Ordered a beer, server forgot about it so I went to the bar and ordered my own. When my 2 friends arrived, he brought them their drinks and I ordered another beer, and AGAIN he forgot and just sat at the end of the bar on his phone or chatted with his friends. They also use all single use cups, silverware and plates, so environmentalist beware! Thankfully the food is deliscious or I wouldnt think about going back to often.

Stopped by today for carry out lunch. We got the Mac and cheese, which was great. Also ordered the Chuck Norris burger which was absolutely delicious. Very juicy, cheese and the jalepeno bacon was bomb. We also got a macadamia grape salad on the side which was good too. Looking forward to coming back when everything is fully open again!

Been going here since they opened...was always a favorite place of ours. Unfortunately, over the course of our last few visits, the quality seems to be going down hill. Burgers have gotten smaller, and there are less toppings in the mac and cheese dishes. The last time we ordered the hot pretzels, the cup of cheese dipping sauce they served us was like cheese water...used to always be thick and creamy.

Had a late dinner here on a Wednesday evening. The place was crowded, we were seated right away. The drinks were served promptly, the server took longer than expected to come to our table and take our order. Once our order was placed, the food was served in a timely manner. I ordered the burger of the month, which was delicious. The place is fun and casual and noisy. I enjoyed myself very much. It is a great local tavern to enjoy an evening with friends or family.

We came in without knowing what to expect. The food was great, the service was good, the atmosphere was comfortable. Far better than we had expected. The burger was a perfect medium rare to medium, the fries were crispy and hot, the mac and cheese was tasty hot and melty. A great meal from a place that we had never heard of before burger week. We will be back

Not so great. Wonderful beers on tap. "Lobster Mac" is actually a fish that my husband is allergic to. The waitress was unaware. In asking someone else it was confirmed and taken off the bill. But still, the dinner or even a drink should have been compt considering he could have gone into Anaphylactic shock.

We went on a Thursday night for the live music. I ordered the salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was old and smelled bad. I sent it back after a bite and got the grilled chicken instead. My date ordered the Chuck Norris burger. It looked delicious.

My drink was served in a plastic cup. Worse was the salt bomb I received when I ordered the Reuben!!! Could not eat. It was almost $12. Service was mildly friendly. I felt like I was intruding on them when my husband and I sat down. Workers were at bar socializing. Would not recommend. Money can be better spent elsewhere!

Since moving to White Oak, Tavern on the Bend has become our new favorite place to eat! The food is delicious and the service is great. Highly recommend!

Heavenly mac n cheese

Tavern on the bend is a nice little place, as my wife and I travel around trying to explore new places we discovered this place one night when we were looking for a tequila shot, on our way to the harvest home fair. We where very pleased with the atmosphere and our shots were great. So we decided to go there again last week and Upon Our pleasant surprise the atmosphere was very upbeat very Lively we ordered three drinks each and they were very healthy not water down at all and we were quite happy with our service we would recommend this place

Very friendly Atmosphere, party hour prices + good regular hour prices. Food Is soo good I ordered take home. Little expensive , but worth it. Little busy at times, but not to ridiculous, worth all my pennies. Lol. Mk

Unique menu items and great take-out service.

Staff is always very friendly, but service always seems to be slow even when nobody else is there. Like that food is served on compostable dishes and not plastic, but would much rather have a glass plate with a metal fork and not a plastic fork. People rant and rave about the mac & cheese but it's nothing special, it's always a bit dry every time I eat here, not to mention it's expensive around $6 a bowl. Does have unique flavors though. Always get the Lucy Liu veggie burger, one of the top veggie burgers I've ever had, it's a monster to eat so have napkins on hand. The 007 burger is the meat equivalent and is just as delicious.

Quality servers. Hot food. Outstanding variety of beers. Comfortable booths, tall chairs and bar seating. Always busy evenings. Limited variety of food.

This was our first visit, and will definitely be our last... Walked in, we weren't greeted, and not sure if should seat ourselves or not. The uncomfortable stares from what I assume were the "regulars" were very unwelcoming. The service was fast, beer was cold, and the Bloody Mary was tasty. Their take on the classic hanky panky was a total bust! The specialty fries were good, but nothing to write home to mom about.

Fantastic beer and Mac and cheese menu. Occasional live music and pretty easy to get to. No questions asked a local favorite.
